Onboarding Steps

Once you've created an account with Theia you will need to complete 8 simple onboarding steps. These steps can be viewed at any time from the "Onboarding" section of the Theia menu. 

1. Download the Theia Health App

The Theia app is available in the App Store & the Play Store.

2. Complete Questionnaire 

As the sensors are prescription devices we require all patients to complete a questionnaire prior to the sensor being shipped.

Once the questionnaire has been completed we will start the prescription process. When the prescription process has been completed we will ship the sensors and you will receive a tracking link within the "Sensor Order" section of your Onboarding steps. 

3. Download CGM App

Please note, this step is specific to the sensor that you received. 

For the initial activation of the sensor, clients will need to download a second application that's available on both the App Store & the Play Store. You find direct links to the required CGM app in your onboarding steps.

The Libre 2/3 app requires NFC functionality in order to activate the sensor. This functionality is available on most phones manufactured after 2016. 

4. Create CGM Account 

Once the CGM app has been downloaded, you will need to create an account. Please make sure to remember the user name (email) and password created here.

For Libre 2/ Libre 3 sensors you will need to create a Libre account that can be used across all Libre products. For Dexcom, you will need to create a Dexcom account that can be used with the G7.

5. Share Data

You will need to enter the account information that was created within the CGM app into Theia. 

6. Enter Activity 

You will be provided with a walkthrough on how to log an activity. Theia promotes the usage of pictures over text as that's an easier behavior to learn and is less cumbersome than detailed caloric logging. 

7. Apply Sensor

Once the sensors have been delivered the client will need to apply the sensor. Sensor application is quick and painless. Step-by-step instructions and video guides will be provided to your client.

8. Get Real-Time Data

You will be shown how to access their real-time biodata with the Theia app. After this step, the client has completed the Onboarding process.
